State Route 32 ADA Compliance Project

DESCRIPTION

This project proposes to install where required, new facilities, or reconstruct and upgrade existing pedestrian infrastructure, such as curb ramps, sidewalks, crosswalks, and driveways within the State's right of way for compliance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and Caltrans Design Information Bulletin (DIB) 82-05.

PROJECT BENEFITS

The necessity for this project is driven by the fact within the project limits some of the locations do not have sidewalks, and other locations do not meet pedestrian accessibility standards due to broken up surfaces, steep ramp slopes, and other factors. The purpose of this project is to bring this segment within compliance standards for ADA facilities.
