I-15 Express Lanes Reconfigured This Weekend
SAN DIEGO——Maintenance crews will move the Interstate 15 (I-15) Express Lane barrier wall this weekend from 3-11 a.m. for maintenance, according to Caltrans.
- Saturday: The Express Lanes will be reconfigured to one northbound lane and three southbound lanes from State Route 163 (SR-163) to Sabre Springs Parkway
- Sunday: The Express Lanes will be reconfigured to one northbound lane and three southbound lanes from SR-163 to Poway Road/Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard. The southbound left Express Lane will be closed from Poway Road/Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard to Scripps Poway Parkway/Mercy Road
The Express Lanes will return to two northbound lanes and two southbound lanes by 11:00 a.m. each day.
Caltrans reminds drivers to be alert when the barrier transfer machine is moving by avoiding distracted driving and paying constant attention to traffic.
