State Route 99/120 Interchange Connector Project


DESCRIPTION

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) proposes to reconstruct the State Route 99 (SR-99)/SR-120 interchange in San Joaquin County. From the SR-99/SR-120 interchange to the Austin Road overcrossing in Manteca.


PROJECT PURPOSE AND NEED

The purpose of this project is to improve the capacity and recurring traffic congestion of the eastbound to southbound and northbound to westbound connector ramps and eliminate weaving and merging between SR-99/120 and SR-99/Austin Road interchanges.


PROJECT COST

$50.8 Million

PROJECT TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Tentative Schedule:

Contract Award: Summer 2021
Begin Construction: Fall 2021
End Construction: Fall 2023
