Caltrans will be collecting initial input on the Rail Plan through an on-line survey that will be available on the website. The results will be used to shape the Rail Plan development phase. The Draft Rail Plan will be released for public review in summer 2017 and seven public workshops will be held throughout the state for 60 days after release. The approved Rail Plan is scheduled to be submitted to the Legislature by May 31, 2018.
Public Workshops in Summer 2017
In the spring of 2017, seven public workshops will be held in the following locations: in Redding, Sacramento, Oakland/San Francisco, Fresno, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Diego. In addition, a statewide webinar will be held, allowing further participation online.
